The Tin Benders, in association with pirate4x4.com, built a “Formula Toy” Rock crawler and raffled it off to raise money and awareness to preempt trail closures. Our biggest interest is the support of Friends of Panamint Valley and the fight to re-open Surprise Canyon. For more information on this please log onto www.fopv.org .

This “Formula Toyota” was built both as a trail rig and will also be built to competition specifications, ready to compete in the Formula Toy Competition Series.

The winner was announced on March 28, 2007 and the winning ticket holder took possession of his new Formula Toy at the “Johnson Valley Cleanup” run hosted by the Tin Benders on April 28, 2007.
