Anyone going to be at CB New Years that knows how to bet to these trails?

I'm pretty sure that Whitebro knows how from Means, but I'm not sure if he's done it from CB. If we have GPS coordinates, I'm sure we can plot it out on a topo map and figure it out.

Did a little plotting on Google Earth, looks like its about 6 miles from CB. Much closer than it is to Means. No roads showing up on Google so we would need the GPS for sure.

If you need any info on our trails, feel free to ask! We will be camping at Soggy Friday to Monday and working on Upper Crowbar.
There is a good power line road that leaves the Cougar Buttes area and heads east/north east. When you get to the valley between the mountains turn right and work south east down lesser dirt roads to Green Rock Mine road. Shaft Canyon is just to the east of this and Crowbar is the next major canyon east from Shaft.
There may be other roads that are more direct, but not as smooth as the power line road.
I mapped the route out in TOPO! for you at 2 different map resolutions, both suitable for printing:
100k Series is here (http://www.spinninfours.com/upload/CougarToShaft_lg2.JPG), 326k.
24k Series is here (http://www.spinninfours.com/upload/CougarToShaft_lg.JPG), 928k.

Have any GPS # for the trail heads?

Personally I prefer a good topographic map to a GPS... but TOPO! shows GPS coordinates as you move the cursor around, so here you go. These are for the canyon entrances.
Shaft Canyon:
34 29.376 N
116 43.254 W
Crowbar:
34 28.92 N
116 42.22 W
By the way, the first side canyon to the left on Crowbar is my gift to the Tin Benders... a beautiful rocky canyon that should make a great buggy only trail with a little work. The entrance should be at about 34 29.024 N by 116 42.397 W.
