the navy is bein nice enough to let me have christmas through the day after new years off. would love to head out to the lakebed, get a chance to have a few :beer:'s with everyone, and find a way to ride bitch for a coupla runs. that is, if anyone is gonna be out there.

Damn, you haven't had your fill of lumpia on the messdecks? If you go to a westcoast ship you'll have more lumpia then you can handle. That being said, I'm sure Patty's lumpia is far better then you'll ever get on the messdecks.

I will have the fight on. But I'm not sure if I'll be at means or the buttes at that point. I'm thinking of hitting means for a couple days then heading to the Buttes Friday afternoon. I just went out and looked at my sat receiver. It has output terminals for the good old red/white/ yellow cable. I found a projector. So now I just need some long cables. I'll pick some up.

yeah, iirc its the same general area. i 'think' pusu was on the front side that year, but don't 100% remember. reguardless, down the road back side of that mountain is where i'll aim for.

So... who drove Ballerina Rock? Great pictures!

It was great to see you guys on Shaft Canyon... from what I gathered from Mike you guys must have made a right turn up the second side canyon on Crowbar (you should have gone straight north to be on the main trail)...

Steve Bennett (Moose) and I did Shaft with Mike and had a great time (thanks for your help Mike). Getting an Early Bronco up any of these trails is a lot of work (but worth it!).

What did you think of the trails?

Mark, all of us drove Ballerina Rock except for Rob. He's got an almost full bodied 4Runner, which is pretty heavy I had my buggy in double low, 4th gear and pinned :D . The trails are fun, it looks like there is a lot of potential in the side canyons.
