In April, we are hosting a complete NON-PROFIT fund raising event for our land use rights.

Sept. All-Pro is hosting a complete PROFIT event to benfit themselves.

And in another "In all fairness" deal.

It's ok to have a for profit event, these things are alot of work and people like the Jeepers Jamboree put on good events for alot of people and make a little dough at the same time. Good for them.

The only issues I have with the AP event is that they're using the name of an established event that has always been free in order to make a profit, in my eyes that is soiling the spirit of what was originally the Runner Jambo.

It's true that the Tin Benders event is not free, however our event is used to raise much needed cash for the land use fight. Another reason our event is not free is that for the first time in the events history there was insurance and permits from the BLM. It all taks cash.

The other issue of concerne that I have about the AP event is their use of Bob Hazel and Sports in the Rough as promoters. Hazel has done so much to hurt our sport/hobby in the name of the all mighty dollar that it makes me want to puke.

These views are just my own, if you're not bothered by them then by all means go to the AP event, it does sound like it'll be a good time ;)

By all means, I was not trying to berate the All Proo Offroad Jamboree. Their event, I'm sure, will be a fun gathering.

Anyone can gather at anytime. People don't need a Jamboree to have fun wheeling.

Our Jamboree is for a DIRECT benefit, the fund-raising for the opening of trails.

Looks like it's more than Sept.

1st Event: April 1-3 Phoenix, AZ
2nd Event: June 17-19 Montrose, CO
3rd Event: Aug 19-21 Monteagle, TN
4th Event: Sep 30-Oct 2 Johnson Valley, CA

Personally, I'd rather go to the Bender ran event.
