The 1st annual Tin Bendrs Jamboree was an AWESOME event. Great runs, good food, well organized and all for a great cause.
Mike and I are sending a retainer letter to the lawyers who will help us open Surprise Canyon, this week. The lawyers will also be taking legal action within the next few weeks to essentially put the BLM on notice.
Thanks again for the hard work you all put in for the cause.

WHEN the Tin Benders host the first official run (and noone else should be allowed to host it) on the reopened Suprise Canyon... I will be there. Because I know my donation will pay off.

I wanted to donate a 20 to FOPV at the raffle but I didn't have my wallet on me. Where can I mail it to? Never been to surprise canyon but I would love to go sometime.

I want to thank the Benders for keeping this from becoming a "FOR PROFFIT" event. our $$$ went to a damn good cause and not in the pocket of some promoter. If I ever get a winch I'd like to be in that line to run Suprise Canyon!
Bryan, Thank you for fighting the fight!

Donations to FOPV can be mailed to:
Mike Kunz
5841 Round Mountain Road
Bakersfield CA 93308-9674
Mike and I should be able to cash checks for FOPV in a few weeks. Then checks can be made out to FOPV directly.
FYI
FOPV and an owner group have retained a law firm. The firm is the best in CA when it comes to land use. Hopefully we'll see some legal action shortly.
Also, I dont have a winch, let alone a vehcile that can drive that road...so I'll be thumbing a ride up there myself.
