Never been on an organized run and I'm doing the SUV at the Jambo. I'm more interested in camping than 'wheelin' for now.

1) The registration includes a Saturday dinner. What about the people I bring with me? If there are dinner tickets, how much are they and do I buy them beforehand?

2) When do I get the Jambo shirt I ordered? Do I pick it up at the event? I ordered about 2wks ago. NEVERMIND I FOUND THE ANSWER IN ANOTHER POST. PICKUP DURING REGISTRATION.

3) Are there places to have a fire? Is it okay to bring a load of wood and build one?

4) Will I ever be added to the signup sheet on the website? I registered several weeks ago for myself and my brother; last names Judd and Grider.

5) This trip will be my brother's bachelor party. Is there a town nearbye where I can buy alcohol and party favors? Short/easy enough drive to camp for a stripper?

Thanks for any help you have to offer.

I can answer 3 and 5

3) yes you can have your own fire. I do believe that the is gonna be a 'group' fire after the raffle on saterday night in the main area. wood donations are accepted.

5) yucca valley is 20 miles or so away, and has full stores if your comming from the east. from the west, you could stop in apple valley, or in Lucerne for alcohol on your way in. (its much easier to get it on the way in that leave and go get it.) as far as a stripper, I doubt that stripper would be willing to got to the middle of the desert, at night, with a bunch of guys. if you found one that did, I doubt you'd wanna see her naked :D

If you are registered, your 'stuff' bag and stickers will be at base camp-(along with your raffle ticket)-
You can have a fire ANYWHERE you want-- BUT--- BLM outlawed pallets and boards with NAILS--
There will be sign up sheet at the base camp-- Friday and Sat morn--
Yucca Valley is 17 miles east-- fairly good sized town with all the stuff towns have !- Lucern Valley- about 22 miles west Very small town- not too much there.
Camp is on the lake bed, about 4 miles (north)off the paved road.

#4 Dave will get you added, he's been kinda busy trying to get his wife back into the country, fixing his tow rig, and preparing the prizes

Thats a good Idea not bringing pallets or nail embeded wood.I think it would be a good idea to post that on the pirate board so everybodys aware of it.And if somebody already did post it ....never mind
