I was thinking it would be a good idea to set a time for the raffle to be held, figured around 7 or 8. That would give people a set time so they can kick it at thier own camp for a bit after trail runs without worrying about missing anything.
Also figured we can set up the fire pile in the the middle of the raffle/party area and Rob can light it up at the conclusion of the giveaways ;)

Sounds good, hopefully everyone will be back from the trails by then, I think it would be a good idea to send Todd out with that "godforsakin" bull horn to anounce the raffle about 15 min prior to starting.
Are you guys willing to delay the raffle if there are folks still out fixin there shit on the trail?

By starting it that late I'm hoping we can avoid that kind of delay. I don't want to start this thing till everybody is back, but just how long of a delay will the of the participants put up with.
We will have good communication back at camp, and enough support there that I'm pretty confidant we can have everyone back in time.
worst case the raffel number is called out on the radio for the group still stuck on the trail and ticket verified by the Bender on the run LOL :D graemlins/thefinger.gif
Seriously a time set is good but with a disclaimer that a delay might happen if a group is unlucky and stuck on the trail still. And maybe set a no later than/drop dead tim???

with the communications that I hope we have----
help should be available to all trails-- and as a group, we SHOULD be able to get everyone in !!!!
( I am a bit concerned--- most on my run are 'newbies' and 'stockers',i figure we WILL have trouble !!!, but there are a couple trails that pass the upper end of AfterShock)
ONE of our reps. is being able to get everyone off the trail----

Yeh, I think your right, by having it that late everybody will most likly be back. even if its a major brake that is enough time to fix most anything!

I still believe that we should delay the raffle until all of the tailgunners report in. I also think that OL and SunBonnet should leave the lakebed at 8:30 AM to get a start since we have the longest drives.

I think there will be enough Jeeps on the trail to keep things moving.

The HEEDS are what we are worried about !!!!!!!!
OL SB and AS are all out -- I'll call 0845 start--
but I also think, ALL should be in camp before we start-- we got "dinner & a movie", so we all need tobe there YOU DON'T WANNA PISS OFF THE COOK WITH EMPTY CHAIRS AT THE TABLE !!!!!
