I guess I should pull a map off the net soon. Probably not. Ridgecrest is on the 395, about 60 miles north of the 58. If you come down the 5 or the 99, you'll head east on the 58 to get to Barstow.

If it where me, I'd cut over to 99 in Sac and follow it to 58 in bakersfeild. Then you'd turn right on 395, you'd turn left to go to RC. I'm leaving here Thursday around 3ish. Are you driving streight through? I hope you gotta co pilot! I'd be happy to hook up with you if your close to me when I leave. Got a cell phone?

Bakersfield- east on 58-------- out in the middle of nowhere- 4way stop lite-- 395 south-(right turn)----
at Adelanto-- (STOP SIGN)- turn left (Air Expressway/ Air Base Road)----
end of road-- turn right---- (hiway 18)----
STAY ON THIS ROAD TO HAMMERS-(it will change #'s eventually to 247)---Victorville-Apple Valley-Lucern Valley-------(only one more turn to go-DON"T give up !!-)---
at Lucern Valley- STOP SIGN- don't turn-- @22 miles -(1/4 mile past big white arrow on right)(START LOOKIN)---
TURN LEFT ON BOONE ROAD and ON TO THE DIRT ROAD---(DROP OFF PAVEMENT !!)
follow it to the LAKE BED--- some where on the left side of the road on the lake bed----

My first post here, I signed up for the Jambo last night and I should be there thursday about six pm, my truck ain't up to the fun stuff yet so I'll be riding shotgun with Heywood.

Does anyone know if there would there be a problem with me bringig my 400ex with me? It is a great place to ride bikes/quads/racetrucks :D . A lot of the courses I race are in that general area. As long as you are not ripping through camp you should not have an issue. I should be bringing 2 brand new 110 quads that I am buying for my kids.

i should be there on thurs afternoon they said i should be out of the hospitol by 8 or 9 am so that gives me time to make it to barstow and hop in the suburban with the trailer already hooked up and i am meeting two other guys from here to ccaravan out with see ya all there
