Just wondering,
I have been reading your modification recommendations for the vehicles per trail and all but two are hardcore/ probable damage.
Besides the stock SUV run, anything challenging without probable body damage?

one spot on AFTERSHOCK------- but can be avoided by most that LISTEN to spotter----- (could rock up that one spot---) but we must post the posibility of--- so there are no tears -IF- (as there WAS last year when he didn't listen )

If the spotter tells you to turn INTO a rock and just miss it--------- DON'T turn AWAY from it cause it looks scarey !!!it is scarey,we know that !!! got the scrape on the right to show it !!!! (but I don't care)

is your rig SAS'd?

If so, Claw and Sunbonnet and decent choices too.

Yep,
All Pro's kit.
So your saying Claw and Sunbonnet are not that difficult either and if I pay attention to my spotter I'll be alright as far as body damage?

Pablo Yep, that's what he's saying. I'd rank them as Aftershock, Claw, SunBonnet, then up. Any one can get you, you just need to pay attention to what's going on.

Bear in mind, -ALL the trails at the Hammers have earned their names and reputations because they are NOT a speed-bump at Wal-mart. Doing ANY trail at the Hammers, should be done with the respect for the trail and its uniqueness. ALL the trails WILL--WILL get you and break your shiet if done reckless and disrespectfully.
People have evolved into the 'buggy' so that they can do MORE at places like the Hammers, with the possibility of less breakage. The design loss of sheet metal is to follow the old axiom, you can't break what you ain't got !! If you don't think things get dented---- look at Todd's "runner"-- (he is goin 'buggy'). Care, deliberation, caution= smart driveing technique with a rig you know its limits as well as your own limits. There are trails that I will do-- there are those I will TRY--- there are as many trails that I won't try cause I know the outcome !!!!! (my rig is more capable than I am and I realize it)

Pablo Last year we ran a group up the ridge rough along the hammer trails. This was a 33" tire run. I think Dan Bell was the leader. This would make a good intermediate run.

Sunbonnet has a wicked left turn that often takes out driver side doors!

from the right side of the "main road" that goes
over to After Shock ?? I'm talking about before
you go through the saddle and past the old mine.

It's also known as the Fisher Mountian Trail. It starts at the bottom and runs along the ridge of the mountian. I comes out over by sledgehammer.

Pablo You've got a better chance of getting body damage by an exploding can of tuna on the lake bed then on Fisher Mountain ;)

Pablo My 1st time at the Hammers with a pretty much stock IFS truck with cut fenders, 33's and a rear locker, I ran Fisher Mountain. My first time on rocks really. There's one little squeeze that looks like it could get someone who's not paying attention. Fun part was coming down the slide on the way back to the lakebed :D

How about trail recommendations for a little wider rig like a Toyota Tundra, that is SASed, locked and on 35's?
