I couldn't use TDS's cause the first line item says they couldn't get insurance....

So I stole Rich's from Calroc's which is probably better cause in affect, he's our insurance agent.


Here's how it reads and is subject to our's and Rich's approval...

EVENT RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
By completing this form I hereby apply to CalROCS and TINBENDERS.ORG (HEREAFTER ?EVENT PROMOTERS?, to participate in the 2004 TOYOTA JAMBOREE (HEREAFTER ?EVENT?). By my signature below, I certify that I have read, understand and accept the following representation, stipulations and waiver.
I further understand that the Event Promoters, their agents, officers, servants, employees, and other property owners or lessees will not accept financial or legal liability for any injury or occurrence arising from the event activities and that accordingly, my participation in such activities must be at my own risk.
I understand that my operation of a motor vehicle in this 4x4 event subjects me to all laws and requirements of the State of California respecting operation of a motor vehicle, and I agree to abide by all applicable laws, including:
1. The laws that the vehicle be insured in an amount not less than the statutory minimum.
2. The laws against the operation of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. The laws that all persons operating a vehicle be properly licensed by the State of California or foreign state.
4. The laws that all persons must wear their respective seat belts.
5. I agree to abide by all the rules established by the Event Promoters.
Accordingly, I hereby waive, for myself, my personal representatives, their heirs and next of kin, all claims which I might have against the Event Promoters, their agents, officers, servants, employees and other property owners or lessees, and any of them in combinations, and their officers, directors, agents, employees or contractors for injury, accident, illness, property damage, death or other occurrence arising in any manner whatsoever out of my participation, in activities sponsored by the Event Promoters. I expressly assume all risks of my participation including the risk that I might be injured as a result of the negligence or gross negligence of the Event Promoters, their agents, officers, servants, employees and other property owners or lessees, and any of them in combinations, and their officers, directors, agents, employees or contractors.
I expressly assume financial and/or legal liability for all risks or injury to persons who accompany me on the event, including family members, guests, friends and acquaintances, and all other persons who accompany me in my registered vehicle. Furthermore, I agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless the Event Promoters from any and all losses, costs, damages, expenses and attorney?s fee arising out of my participation or the participation of persons who accompany me in the Events related activities.
WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS
(FOR A PARTICIPANT UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS OF AGE, A PARANT, THE MINOR?S LEGAL GUARDIAN OR ADULT RESPONIBLE FOR THE MINOR MUST SIGN THIS RELEASEE FORM AND WRITE THE WORD ?MINOR? AND THEIR AGE NEXT TO THE MINOR?S NAME)
I hereby agree to allow the Event Promoters or their agents to use any likeness of myself, or my equipment for promotional reasons. I waive any rights over said likeness, when used for Promotional reasons.

looks good to me--'cept---? do we still want to call it a 'toyota' jambo ??? that will exclude some who might wanna run------ (some that have heeps-- Ryan, Phill, DSI,Schaffer, and the Buggie folks, Sami peoples,etc ) why not just call it the "Jamboree", even tho it aimed primarily at Toyotas !??----- eventually to be called the TIN BENDER JAMBOREE

Once people identify it as a Bender event, then change the name. There is usually plenty of Non-Yotas at the event but I can spell that out on the web page.

I think that a second year name change IS the way to go !!!!!!! We still need to have a event that will allow for the beginner to try their skill/ability, not just the 'hard core' Hammers crowd.

I'm going to add verbage that state's that the official event is only from 8:00 PM Friday - 8:00 PM Saturday.

Toyota is what it was, and I think it should stay that way. Actually the event started as a 4Runner Jamboree and was limited to 4Runners ONLY... anyway, Jeeps have enough events... Toyotas deserve the respect of a Toyota only event, just my .02

This event is and always will be Toyota based, but it's still about the wheeling and if you wanna bring it, bring it.

As for the open Bender camp... That has always been my impression, and it is much appreciated.
