First of all, thank you to all sponsors who have donated to the cause and are visiting our site.

This thread will serve as a 'target' list. Please add to the list as think of new potential sponsors and also post up if you've contacted anyone. I'll put names next to the sponsors if someone has already taken action with them so we don't end up duplicating efforts.

I challenge everyone to find two additional sponsors. Sponsors can help in 3 ways, $500 cash get their Logo in our 'Event Sponsor' banner. Donating products for the raffle gets you in the 'Raffle Sponsor' banner. And last but not least, we need to find a sponsor for the meal.

Check the list, post who you're calling or called, we don't want to annoy the sponsors by having multiple people calling.

Get it

Has anyone thought of talking to the CBradio guy off the board? He is from Las Vegas and likes the Hammers, he also shown me some interest in becoming a member. I think he said he also makes stickers and stuff, not to mention CB radio shit.

I went by ORW today, have to call the manager tomorrow. Talked to Gary (SDCJ) about a pair of entries to next year's TDS, he's gonna approach the powers that be. I'll also get ahold of somebody from SD4W for Superstition Run stuff.

Add Advanced Adaptors and Rock Buggy Supply to the list smile.gif

If it says Undecided that means they've agreed to support us but haven't nailed down exactly what they'll send. Most of the big boys need me to send the event details in writing for writeooff purposes, I'm waiting for the web-site to be done to send that out.

If it says Uncommitted, that means I haven't spoken to them yet ;) Thus far, no one has said "no" smile.gif

There are some incredible prizes up there, but I think we need to nail some small stuff like tire repair kits, pressure guages, tow straps.....

If we had 30 little prizes to give out instead of 5 big ones, I thinke we'd have a very happy crowd. What do you guys think?

I missed Jon Bundrant's call today but we should get hooked up pretty soon.

I also talked to Todd, he nailed ORW and is working on a different 4WPW.

I will be writing the 'Official' Sponsorship pitch, most of the vendors need our mission statement, club logo, event details and such so that they can claim the donation on their taxes.

I'll have that by the morning.

guys, My father-in-law and I were talking about maybe donating 10 or so printed T-shirts to the raffle, and maybe some 2 for 1 coupons for custom printed T-shirts. Haven't thought about what would be on the shirt as of yet, but I told him I'd run it by you guys first to see if you'd want them.

if ya already got plenty of shirts for the raffle, thats fine.

later

Hey Dave
Would you guys prefer that I provide two $50 checks, one $100 check or $100 worth of offroad type prizes for the raffle? Let me know.
Additionaly, you might want to call Tom, the owner of Foothill Offroad in Auburn, Ca. He is getting ready to sign up and may be willing to donate something. Just tell him I gave you his phone # 530-889-2021. Good luck.

Hey guys, I'm looking to get on the sponsorship bandwagon, since I'll be there anyway for FOPV (I'm the CFO and interim Treasurer). I've got home DVD players to give away (they'd probably work in an RV, too). I'll bring them to the event when I come.

How are you doing on run leaders? Do you need any? I don't have a Toyota, so can go clear past the trailhead (flame suit on!)

Blame Todd, he drug me into this...;)

Mike Right on Mike... Do you have a business that sells the DVD players? Do you have a logo?

Trail leaders are set, but not everybody has gunners. What trail are you interested in?
