Talked to everyone today and posted it up in the Toy section of PBB. I also sent an email to Mike Bundrant.
Alot of work to do, I'll get a list up here soon and we'll figure out who is able to help with what.
Here's the start:
We need a web-page that's simple but allows for run sign-up and registration form to print.
We need to make the reg form.
We need to find corporate sponsors
We need to find raffle prizes
We need Dash Plaques
We need T-shirts
And the last but not least we need to either form an independent LLC or Non-Profit or form one around the Benders.
I am 100% committed to this from a time perspective and am confident that we will pull this off without a hitch.
So does anyone have an in with any companies that might want to sponsor/ or participate?

Dave , if All-Pro still wants to commit--- as long as the 'insurance' issue isn't an issue--
would they still want to contribute raffle prizes as they would anyway ???
also---- the guy with the jeep at Carnage-- Schaffers sponsor------'surperior axle?'- he said then that he wanted to get MORE involved.

*(the blanks are the name of the club, and or the event. might work ??) As far as I'm concerned.... " Cut and Paste " :D good job Krust. This doesn't relieve us of the need to protect our personal belongings with an LLC or Non-Profit. I'm researching that right now.

I can do the shirts. We could sell them for $15 with $5 of that going to FOPV. This way I could afford to give Benders and help free shirts.

Ok fellas, what sponsors are we gonna target and who has an 'in' with any of them. This could be as simple as a raffle gift to as big as $ or hosting a meal.
Here's a starter list:
AllPro
Inchworm
Poly Performance
CTM
Superiour Axles
Schaefer Offroad
PBB
Hendrix Motorsports
Sky Manufacturing
Marlin ????????
Does anyone have an in with a tire company?
How do we score a winch?
I'm going to Email Brad - the owner of Extreme4x4.com - to see if he wants to do a meal
Calrocs
Bring it fawkers.

I'd love to figure out a way to charge enough per rig to throw in one shirt with each registration. I think we'll end up selling more shirts in the long run if every participant gets one ;)

I'm not saying no, but I used to be a Cal4Wheel member and I can't say that I was impressed.

I'll hit up a couple of the 4X4 places down here and see if they'll donate to the raffle. JC also might have an in with some of the companies he works with in his race program. We also need to call Jordan at 4WPW and see what he can do.

I'll Call Marlin, Inchworm and the dash plaque guy. I don't think we should include t-shirts with the entry. Keep the entry as cheap as possible, give them a dash plaque and a day of wheeling.
REMEMBER, Rich's insurance is only going to cover one day (Saturday) so don't post anything else than that.
I told Rich I would call him today to confirm.
April 24th right?

Ok, I can do a web-based entry form, unless you all want to do a mail-in type form. But here's the thing, how do we want to cellect funds? Do you guys trust me enough to use my personal paypal account? I mean, we can setup a Tin Bender pay pal, but it's still going to need someones bank account number to get the funds out. Mine at least is already setup.

Hold off on the money question for now Phil. We are looking into maybe getting a checking account in the name of "Toyota Jamboree". We need to decide weather we are going to form a LLC or make the TinBenders an Non Profit organization. If we go non-Profit we must become a club first so I vote LLC.

I just talked to Rich. His insurance polocy doesn't have any deductable (good news). What do you guys think about either giving Rich (temporairy) access to our private forum or making another private forum for the planing of this event. It would be nice to involve all the sponsers in some kind of online discussion.
